The Placer County Board of Supervisors established the Granite Bay Municipal Advisory Council, in 1980.  There are seven member on the council each appointed by the Board of Supervisors to a term of two years.  Members must live within the MAC boundaries. 

The primary purpose of the MAC is to advise the Board of Supervisors regarding issues affecting the Community.  MACs discuss local land use issues, law enforcement, and other topics and make recommendations on many topics to other agencies and other County departments.  They also assist local residents to address concerns, solve problems, and remain informed on issues important to the community.  (More Information on MACs)

The MAC normally meets the 1st Wednesday each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Eureka School District Office at 5455 Eureka Rd.
